HS SPORTS REPORT: Brendan Moore’s four-goal night powers Honeoye; Midlakes girls volleyball outlasts Waterloo in five-set thriller

Rain soaked the Wayne-Finger Lakes on Tuesday, but high school fall sports carried on. On the soccer field, Brendan Moore scored four times to lead Honeoye to its fifth straight win, defeating winless Waterloo. In volleyball, Midlakes battled past Waterloo in five sets to earn a hard-fought victory.
