A Brooklyn man admitted to fatally shooting a Rochester man at a summer block party in Auburn, according to The Citizen. Davon Dixon, 35, pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder for killing 43-year-old Ronell Agee on July 26.
Witnesses said Dixon opened fire after Agee told Dixon’s girlfriend to “stop messin’” during the Chapman Avenue event. Dixon, who recently moved to Auburn, shot Agee multiple times while yelling, “Stop playing with me.”
Dixon faces 20 years to life in prison and will be sentenced in January. He remains in county jail without bail.
