Deputies arrested a Canandaigua man on Saturday night after learning he had an active warrant out of Yates County.
According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old James Bell was taken into custody around 10:24 p.m. on September 27. The arrest happened in Ontario County with assistance from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Bell was wanted for violating the conditions of his sentence, which included probation or a conditional discharge. He was transported to the Yates County Jail, where he’s being held until his next appearance in Yates County Court.
The case was handled by Deputy Newell, with the arrest warrant stemming from Yates County Superior Court.
