UR Medicine Thompson Health has announced that Dr. Michelle Prong Geiger has joined the Canandaigua Medical Group, where she will serve patients in both the pediatrics and internal medicine departments.
Dr. Prong Geiger is board eligible in both specialties and brings a wide range of experience to the practice. She completed her medical degree and residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
She also holds a master’s degree in public health from Virginia Tech and a bachelor’s in human biology from Stanford University. Before joining Thompson Health, she worked at the Culver Medical Group Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Clinic in Rochester.
Dr. Prong Geiger now sees patients of all ages at the Canandaigua Medical Group, located at 335 Parrish Street. The office is affiliated with F.F. Thompson Hospital and can be reached at 585-393-2811.
