Syracuse travels to Memorial Stadium on Saturday to open ACC play against Clemson, with kickoff set for noon on ESPN.
The Orange (2-1) ride a two-game win streak into Death Valley after dismantling Colgate, 66-24, last week, their highest-scoring game under head coach Fran Brown. Clemson (1-2) is looking to rebound from a 24-21 loss at Georgia Tech, where a last-second field goal spoiled its conference opener.
Syracuse’s offense has been explosive through the first three games. Quarterback Steve Angeli leads the nation in passing yards per game after throwing for 382 yards and five touchdowns against Colgate. Receiver Darrell Gill Jr. earned ACC honors after posting 152 yards and two scores.
Clemson has long held the upper hand in this matchup, winning nine of the last ten meetings. Syracuse’s last victory over the Tigers came in 2017 at the Dome, and it has yet to beat Clemson on the road since joining the ACC in 2013.
