Jason MacBride says he’s ready to rebuild the DA’s office, despite reports of prosecutors quitting over him, according to reporting by RochesterFirst.com.
Current DA Jim Ritts claims attorneys are leaving because they don’t want to work under MacBride, who beat him in the June GOP primary. MacBride insists staffing has long been an issue and says he’s already assembling a new team.
He also responded to concerns that key prosecutors may leave before a high-profile murder case goes to trial.
