On Saturday at approximately 10:00 AM, Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a structure
fire at 2653 County Road 20 in the Town of Phelps.
Upon arrival there was active smoke coming from the structure.
Three individuals who were inside the structure at the time of the fire made it out safely with no reported injuries.
Phelps, Clifton Springs and Seneca Castle fire safely extinguished the fire.
Due to the damage Red Cross was contacted to help with the living arraignments for the family.
The fire appeared to be started in the kitchen but it is under investigation by the Ontario County Fire Coordinators Office.
