Romulus woman charged with aggravated DWI after speeding stop

A traffic stop in the Town of Romulus led to a drunk driving arrest earlier this week, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say 32-year-old Jessica Webster was pulled over around 9:50 p.m. on September 9 after allegedly speeding on County Road 129.

During the stop, deputies determined Webster was intoxicated and later found her blood alcohol content to be .19%—more than twice the legal limit. She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, both misdemeanors.

Webster was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Romulus Town Court on October 24 at 10:00 a.m.
