A Conquest man was arrested earlier this week after a domestic dispute that involved multiple children, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested 37-year-old Brendan K. Snyder on the morning of September 7 on an arrest warrant stemming from the previous night’s incident.
Investigators say Snyder allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat and covered their mouth during the altercation, which took place in front of several children. The charges include attempted assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, and endangering the welfare of a child — all misdemeanors.
He was processed and arraigned later that evening in CAP Court and is scheduled to return to Conquest Town Court at a later date.
