Troopers ID Waterloo cyclist killed in Monday crash

A 61-year-old woman died Monday morning after two cars hit her while she was riding her bike on a rural road in Seneca County.

Kimberly Walborn of Waterloo was heading east on Hecker Road when both vehicles — also heading east — struck her just after 7:25 a.m., according to New York State Police.

Troopers said the drivers, Jennifer Fish of Geneva and Leslie Quesnel of Waterloo, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Walborn was pronounced dead on site.

Police said there were no signs of impairment. The crash remains under investigation.
