Deputies arrested a Newark man Sunday evening after a shoplifting investigation at a Dollar General store in Lyons.
Jermaine J. Richardson, 49, was charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing $73.82 worth of merchandise, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident took place at the Dollar General on State Route 31. Deputies arrested Richardson following an investigation and transported him to the Sheriff’s Office for processing.
He was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on October 21 at 8:30 a.m.
