Reid opened the scoring in the ninth minute, finishing a rebound after an initial save by Cornell goalkeeper Samantha Qureshey. Riley doubled the lead six minutes later on a penalty kick. The Big Red (2-1-2) answered in the 38th minute when sophomore defender Ella Koschineg buried a free kick from distance for her first career goal.

Delaware pulled away again in the 62nd minute, as Adiat Olaogun-Dickson sprinted down the right side and converted a pass from Lilli Lubic. Olaogun-Dickson’s third goal of the season tied her for the team lead, while freshman goalkeeper Sophia Hall secured the result with six saves. Qureshey finished with four stops for Cornell, equaling her season high.

Both teams finished with 13 shots and seven on goal, but Delaware capitalized on its chances.
