A man was arrested after deputies say he was caught stealing nearly $380 worth of merchandise from Dick’s Sporting Goods at Eastview Mall.
Brian Lazzar, 46, of Lyons, was taken into custody Saturday afternoon after store staff reported an active theft in progress.
Deputies responded around 4:45 p.m. to the store at 200 Eastview Mall Drive. After a brief investigation, Lazzar was charged with petit larceny.
He was released with an appearance ticket and is due back in Victor Town Court at a later date.
