Someone who bought a Powerball ticket at the Hornell Wegmans just scored $50,000, according to lottery officials.
The ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball in the Aug. 27 drawing. Two other New York stores also sold big winners—including a $1 million ticket in Lakewood.
No one hit the jackpot, which now climbs to $861 million for Saturday’s drawing.
