A Penn Yan man has been indicted and arrested on felony drug charges following an investigation by village police.
Officers say 63-year-old Daniel R. Bergstresser, of Main Street, was taken into custody on August 16 after a Yates County grand jury indicted him for selling crack cocaine.
Bergstresser was charged with third-degree criminal sale and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance — both class B felonies. He was arraigned in Yates County Superior Court and released, as required by New York State law.
The arrest was carried out by Investigator Marsh of the Penn Yan Police Department.
