Steuben County seeks input on hazard plan

Steuben County is revamping its hazard mitigation plan and wants residents’ input on how to reduce risks from natural disasters, according to WENY.

Officials will hold public meetings starting Sept. 4 in Bath to share updates and gather feedback. A survey is also available online to shape the county’s strategy.

The updated plan is required every five years to keep FEMA grant funding for disaster preparedness.
