A Canandaigua man was arrested after allegedly approaching someone who had a court order requiring him to stay away.
O’Neil E. Lollis, 68, was taken into custody on August 8 around 3:56 p.m. on South Main Street.
Officers responded to a reported disturbance and learned that Lollis had engaged the protected individual in unwanted conversation, which caused them fear.
Police say the person had an active order of protection against Lollis at the time. He was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree and taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
