A woman from South Carolina was arrested in Canandaigua after a traffic stop led to charges of drunk driving and drug possession.
Police say 36-year-old Sara K. Williams was stopped on South Main Street just after midnight on August 11. During the stop, officers noticed signs of intoxication and took her into custody.
They also found a white powdery substance that later tested positive for cocaine. Williams was charged with driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
She was transported to Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
