As bowling alleys disappear across the U.S., one Sodus spot is thriving by mixing old-school lanes with new entertainment, according to the Times of Wayne County.
Owners Jim Burnett and Roy McCarthy revamped the longtime alley into “3B’s – Beer, Bags and Balls,” adding Cornhole leagues, a full restaurant, and live events. League bowling remains strong, but new offerings are drawing crowds from hours away.
The goal: turn a fading pastime into a family-friendly destination.
