Police say the purse was stolen from the victim’s home on May 22. Surveillance footage later showed Travis using the stolen cards, according to investigators. Officers say Travis was an acquaintance of the victim and visited the home regularly.

An arrest warrant was issued out of Auburn City Court on Aug. 19. Travis was charged with one count of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a felony.

She was processed and taken to Cayuga County Jail for arraignment.
