A woman was taken to the hospital over the weekend after crashing into a row of parked trailers outside a local business in Lyons.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on August 17 along State Route 31 near Jim’s Trailer World.
Deputies say the driver was headed east when she suffered a medical emergency, lost control of her vehicle, and veered off the road—striking several trailers in the business’s parking lot.
She was the only person in the vehicle and was transported to Newark-Wayne Hospital by Wayne County EMS.
The Lyons Fire Department also responded to the scene.
