Nature lovers of all ages are invited to explore the Seneca Meadows Wetland Preserve during a free Pollinator, Butterfly, and Dragonfly Walk on Saturday, August 23.
Hosted by the Seneca Meadows Education Center and the Montezuma Audubon Center, the event begins at 8 a.m. and runs until 11. Space is limited and registration is required.
The walk starts at the Education Center (1977 NYS Route 414, Waterloo), where participants will gather by 7:45 a.m. for a short introduction. From there, the group will head to the Seneca Meadows Wetland Preserve (1712 Black Brook Road) for a guided tour focusing on pollinators and conservation.
The event is open to everyone—including individuals, families, and under-served communities—and is designed to spark interest in native pollinators and the habitats that support them.
