$50K Powerball tickets sold in three NY cities

Three lucky New Yorkers are holding $50,000 winning Powerball tickets after matching key numbers in the August 13 drawing.

The New York Lottery announced that third-prize tickets were sold in Ozone Park, Poughkeepsie, and Rochester. Each is worth $50,000.

Here’s where the winning tickets were purchased:

  • Ozone Park: ROCKAWAY 100 INC at 100-07 Rockaway Blvd
  • Poughkeepsie: PARKER AVE GAS & MART INC at 150 Parker Ave
  • Rochester: QUICKLEE’S #029 at 2291 Hudson Ave

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Winning numbers are drawn from a field of 69 white balls and one red Power Ball from a separate pool of 26.

The New York Lottery remains the most profitable in North America, contributing $3.6 billion this year to public education across the state.
