Warrant unit makes two arrests in Ontario County

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Warrant Unit arrested two people Tuesday in separate cases tied to court violations.

Deputies took 41-year-old Joshua Lawliss of Marion into custody around 7:32 p.m. on a Family Court bench warrant for a support violation.

Later that night, deputies arrested Cerena O’Donnell, 24, of Farmington. She had failed to appear in Canandaigua Town Court on multiple dates related to charges of aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding, and failure to surrender a suspended license.

O’Donnell was arrested at 8:44 p.m. and taken to the Ontario County Jail for CAP Court.

Both individuals were held for arraignment.
