Steuben County Fair returns for 206th year

The nation’s longest-running county fair is back next week in Bath, New York, for its 206th straight year, according to WENY.

Running August 11–17, the Steuben County Fair will feature carnival rides, livestock contests, agricultural exhibits, and grandstand events like harness racing, monster trucks, and demolition derbies. Admission ranges from $2 to $5 depending on the day, with children under five admitted free.

Fairgoers can also explore historical attractions on-site, including a log cabin, one-room schoolhouse, and antique farm equipment displays, continuing a tradition that dates back to 1819.
