Reliant Credit Union employees have donated more than 225 pieces of professional attire to EnCompass, a Rochester-based organization that helps students and families prepare for the next steps in their education or career paths. The clothing drive, part of a recent Reliant wellness initiative, aimed to promote mindfulness and decluttering while giving back to the community.
The donated collection included dresses, blouses, dress shirts, pants, blazers, shoes, and suits. These items will be used by EnCompass participants as they get ready for job interviews, college admissions, and other professional opportunities. The in-kind donation will also be matched at 150% by The Sands Family Foundation, further amplifying its impact.
“This initiative reflects the heart of our wellness efforts: encouraging personal growth while supporting others,” said Pamela Heald, President & CEO at Reliant. “We’re proud to help individuals in our community step confidently into their future.”
The clothing drive is part of Reliant’s broader commitment to community engagement. In addition to donating clothing, Reliant partners with EnCompass to provide free financial education, equipping students and families with essential skills for long-term financial stability.
