Drivers in Geneva will need to plan around road closures starting August 4, as crews begin removing abandoned gas mains under Castle Street.
The City of Geneva announced that the work, taking place between Brook Street and Maxwell Avenue, will shut down east- and westbound through-traffic on Castle Street during daytime hours.
The project is expected to last about one week. Parking along the construction route may be limited overnight and during work hours. Officials said the schedule could change depending on weather or unforeseen conditions.
“We appreciate your patience during this necessary utility work,” the city said.
