Celsius Energy Drink Recalled After Alcohol Found in Mislabeled Cans

A voluntary recall has been issued after a packaging mistake led to vodka seltzer being sold in cans labeled as Celsius Astro Vibe energy drinks. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall on July 30, 2025, warning consumers in multiple states of potential unintentional alcohol consumption.

What Happened?

High Noon, the popular canned vodka seltzer brand, revealed that a shared packaging supplier mistakenly shipped empty Celsius cans to its facility. As a result, some cans in High Noon Beach Variety 12-packs were incorrectly labeled as Celsius Astro Vibe Sparkling Blue Razz energy drinks—even though they contain alcohol.

No injuries or adverse events have been reported. However, consumers are being advised to check their cans before drinking.

The affected products include:

Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink (12 oz cans)

  • Dispose of the affected cans safely.
  • Contact High Noon Consumer Relations at [email protected] for information on refunds or replacement options.

Why It Matters

This mislabeling error raises serious concerns for individuals who are avoiding alcohol for health, legal, or religious reasons. The FDA and High Noon stress the importance of checking product codes before consuming.

Final Word

Celsius energy drink fans and High Noon consumers alike should take a moment to verify their purchases—especially if they bought any Beach Variety 12-packs or Sparkling Blue Razz Astro Vibe cans in late July.
