Fleming Town Supervisor Don Oltz has passed away at age 78, according to local officials.
Oltz died Saturday at Upstate Community Hospital in Syracuse. He was serving his second term as town supervisor and previously worked as a Cayuga County sheriff’s deputy and Niles town justice. A retired electrician, Oltz was also active in local fire services and the Four Town Ambulance.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home in Auburn.
