A Naples man was hospitalized Saturday evening following a single-vehicle crash on State Route 245 in the Town of Italy.
Yates County deputies responded to the scene at 6:43 p.m. on July 26, along with multiple emergency crews from Yates and Ontario counties. The driver, identified as 64-year-old David A. Burns, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Agencies assisting at the scene included the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Naples and Middlesex fire departments and ambulances, the Canandaigua Emergency Squad, and the Yates County Office of Emergency Services. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
