A juvenile rider was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital Saturday afternoon following an electric bicycle crash in the Town of Geneva.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene near Denny’s on State Route 5 and 20 around 3:39 p.m. on July 26, along with the White Springs Fire Department and Finger Lakes Ambulance.
Deputies said two juveniles were traveling westbound on the shoulder of the road when one attempted to turn around in front of the other. The second rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected into the roadway.
Due to the nature of the injuries, Mercy Flight Central transported the injured juvenile to Strong Memorial Hospital, where they were listed in satisfactory condition.
