Hornell man arrested after drug raid uncovers stash

A search at a Hornell storefront led to the arrest of a man accused of drug-related felonies. According to police, police executed a warrant on July 24 and found over 20 pounds of marijuana, cannabis edibles, and psychedelic drugs at the shop.

Nicholas J. Morris, 47, who operated the location at 9 Canisteo Square, was charged with multiple felony counts, including possession of marijuana and a controlled substance. He was processed and released on his own recognizance.

Hornell officials also issued a stop-work order for the building, and the state Cannabis Control Board has been contacted to investigate further.
