Dryden’s Planning Board approved a new family visitation center for the William George Agency and reviewed a revised 26-unit cottage proposal on Hanshaw Road, according to The Ithaca Voice. The agency’s modular facility must be completed by October to meet terms of a donor’s bequest.
The 5,235-square-foot center includes family rooms, a cafeteria, and meeting space, and will sit near the agency’s chapel. Officials say parking and infrastructure needs are already met.
Meanwhile, plans for “The Cottages on Hanshaw” feature all-electric units built over three years. Developers were urged to engage neighbors and include walkable features before the project advances further.
