Driver with suspended license arrested in Waterloo traffic stop

A man was taken into custody during a traffic stop in Waterloo after police discovered he was driving with multiple license suspensions.

David Hennigan, 44, of Waterloo, was arrested on July 22 at approximately 6:22 p.m. for aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree, according to the Waterloo Police Department.

Authorities said the arrest followed a traffic stop where Hennigan was allegedly observed operating a motor vehicle despite having a suspended driver’s license. Police noted that his license had three or more suspensions on at least three separate dates.

Hennigan is scheduled to appear in the Fayette Town Court at a later date.
