A Geneva pizza landmark has come full circle. According to the Finger Lakes Times, longtime owners Rita Crisanti Halpin and Sam Crisanti have retired, passing Cam’s Pizzeria back to Tony Calascibetta—the brother of founder Carmelo “Cam” Calascibetta.
The Crisantis ran the Exchange Street shop for 37 years after first helping Cam launch the business in 1980. Known for its pizza-by-the-slice and house-made wings, Cam’s became a local staple thanks to its college-town charm and expanding menu.
Tony, who also owns Cam’s locations in Oswego and Camillus, says he plans to honor the family tradition while continuing to serve up pizza “made with love.”
