Freedom Farmhouse to host grand opening celebration in Macedon

Freedom Farmhouse, a new nonprofit animal sanctuary in Macedon, will celebrate its official grand opening this Friday, July 26, from 12 to 3 p.m. at its property on 2019 Quaker Road. The event is free and open to the public.

Backed by sponsor CatPrint, the celebration promises an afternoon of live music, a food truck, raffles, animal encounters, and a family-friendly fairy trail walk. Visitors will also have the chance to purchase exclusive merchandise and meet the sanctuary’s rescued animal residents.

“We are incredibly excited to open our doors and share the heart of Freedom Farmhouse with the community,” said founder Emily Bott. “This grand opening is a chance to celebrate the animals we’ve rescued, connect with our neighbors, and build a future where compassion thrives.”

The event aims to introduce the sanctuary’s mission of providing rescue and long-term care for animals in need. Freedom Farmhouse works to create a safe, enriching environment for animals while raising awareness of their value and individuality.
