Diana Kastenbaum, a former manufacturing CEO from Batavia, and Army veteran Steven Holden have launched campaigns focused on rural healthcare, veterans’ services, and economic fairness. Kastenbaum emphasizes “kitchen table issues,” while Holden is positioning himself as a defender of democracy and working families.

Both candidates face an uphill battle in the heavily Republican district, but say they’re driven by community needs and a desire for change in Washington.
