Trumansburg Education Foundation celebrates year of impactful grants

The Trumansburg Education Foundation highlighted a successful year of innovative grant-making at a recent school board meeting, according to the Tompkins Weekly. Grants supported hands-on learning programs, student-led projects, and community partnerships, including the popular Kids Discover the Trail! field trips.

The foundation, which has awarded over $160,000 in grants since its founding, also raised more than $10,000 through the annual May Day 5K. It continues to honor local educational contributions through the Betty McKnight Legacy Award.

Grants under $1,000 are accepted year-round, while larger funding requests follow two annual cycles. More details are available at tburgedfoundation.org.
