Davis, 45, allegedly broke into a neighbor’s home, assaulted the resident, and stole firearms before firing them from multiple locations in the park. Authorities say he continued shooting despite negotiations, prompting police to deploy tear gas. No officers were injured, though the victim, 69-year-old Steven Linden, sustained injuries.

Davis is due back in court on August 20 for pretrial motions.
