Micron will unveil its draft environmental impact report on Wednesday for its planned semiconductor plant in Clay, New York, according to CNY Central. The document will assess effects on air, water, wildlife, and more, with the public given 45 days to submit comments.
Originally set for early June, the report’s release was delayed to ensure it thoroughly addresses environmental concerns. Meanwhile, infrastructure work has already begun nearby, including a new pump station to support increased sewer demand.
Micron plans to break ground on the massive chip facility at White Pine Commerce Park in November.
