New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) will host a Community Connection event in Cayuga County this week to help customers manage energy bills and access support services.
The event takes place Wednesday, June 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mentz Town Hall, 14 Sponable Drive in Port Byron. Customers will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis, with no formal presentation required.
Representatives will be on-site to answer account questions, discuss billing concerns, and connect individuals with payment assistance resources.
“These events enable customers to get face-to-face, one-on-one help with a billing concern or with assistance they may require in paying their bill,” the company said.
NYSEG and RG&E emphasized their continued commitment to community engagement and plan to work with local organizations to improve access to their programs.
