Labigan appeared to have failed to stop at the posted stop sign before the collision. The impact caused her vehicle to roll down a steep embankment. Emergency crews from the Canandaigua Fire Department extricated Labigan from the wreckage. She was airlifted by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital and is listed in critical condition.

Michaelski sustained minor injuries. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Crash Reconstruction Unit responded and closed the roadway for several hours to investigate. The crash remains under investigation.
