Two major drug cases in Ontario County are being highlighted by prosecutors as a win against regional narcotics activity, according to the Finger Lakes Times. A Canandaigua man has been indicted on 23 charges, while a Geneva man was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Jeffrey Johnson, 43, was indicted following the February seizure of large quantities of cocaine, ketamine, LSD, and other drugs, plus cash. He faces up to 38 years if convicted. Sharif Parker, 38, received a 15-year sentence for his role in a multi-county narcotics operation that included fentanyl and illegal firearms.
Authorities say the combined investigations dismantled a significant drug ring and improved public safety across the Finger Lakes region.
