A car plowed into a mobile home and shed in Dryden’s Little Creek community Saturday morning, prompting an emergency response, according to 14850.com. No injuries were reported for the driver or residents, but an injured cat fled the scene and is still missing.
The crash happened while firefighters were engaged in a training event nearby. Although the home sustained only minor damage, the injured pet cat remains a concern for responders. The public is asked to report sightings of the animal to the Dryden fire station.
Authorities are continuing efforts to locate the cat and ensure its care. The cause of the crash has not been disclosed, but the swift response helped avoid more serious consequences.
