Unionized police and public works employees in Waterloo will receive 3% pay raises retroactive to June 1, following Village Board approval of new labor agreements, according to the Finger Lakes Times. Each union represents seven workers, with contract terms still being finalized for police.
The board also announced a two-hour parking limit for downtown and agreed to provide police court security services, pending town approval. Plans to seek funding for a firehouse expansion and additional water and sewer lateral replacements were also approved.
Excellus has requested a nearly 25% health premium hike for 2026, village officials noted during the meeting.
