Shots fired investigation follows road rage incident in Seneca County

Authorities are investigating a road rage incident in Seneca County that involved gunfire and are asking the public for help identifying witnesses.

According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on June 12 at approximately 4:20 p.m. in the Town of Lodi. Deputies confirmed that shots were fired but said few details would be released as the investigation remains active.

The Sheriff’s Office described the situation as isolated and said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
