Shai Gilgeous-Alexander poured in 15 of his 35 points in the final 4:38, powering the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 111-104 comeback win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night and knotting the NBA Finals at two games apiece.
Jalen Williams added 27 points and Chet Holmgren posted a 14-point, 15-rebound double-double as Oklahoma City regained home-court advantage. Despite hitting a season-low three 3-pointers and getting no assists from Gilgeous-Alexander for the first time all season, the Thunder leaned on late-game grit and defensive pressure to secure the win. Alex Caruso added 20, and the Thunder silenced the Indiana crowd down the stretch.
The Pacers led by 10 late in the third after Obi Toppin’s emphatic dunk and entered the fourth up 86-80. But, Indiana couldn’t hold off OKC’s charge.
Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 20 points, while Tyrese Haliburton and Toppin combined for 35.
The series shifts back to Oklahoma for Game 5 on Monday at 8:30 p.m.
