Seneca Falls woman charged with DWI after traffic stop

A woman was arrested early Friday morning in Waterloo after police stopped her vehicle and found her impaired by drugs.

Tarissa S. Mayo, 31, of Seneca Falls, was taken into custody by the Waterloo Police Department at approximately 5:51 a.m. on June 13. Officers initially pulled her over for operating an uninspected motor vehicle.

During the stop, police determined Mayo was driving under the influence of drugs. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Mayo was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
