Flames tore through a house in the Village of Savona on Sunday afternoon, with fire crews battling an intense blaze reported just after 1:30 p.m., according to first responders.
The fire, which reportedly started in a garage, had already spread throughout the home and was shooting from windows by the time firefighters arrived. Departments from Bath, Campbell, Painted Post, Corning, and Hammondsport responded to assist the Savona Fire Department.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Officials have not confirmed whether anyone was hurt in the incident.
