A Lyons man with a history of minor offenses is now facing a serious felony after being charged with predatory sexual assault against a child, according to authorities. The alleged victim is a 10-year-old boy.
Geoffrey Daniel Evans, 24, was arrested May 24 by State Police in Williamson. Authorities say the assault took place in October 2024. Evans, already jailed on other charges, was arraigned and remanded without bail.
He is expected to appear in Williamson Town Court, and a court order of protection has been issued for the victim.
